Delete Your Account

You can delete your Vroxy account at any time.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Go to Account Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

• Profile information (email, display name, bio, avatar) is permanently removed.
• Room memberships are removed — you will leave all rooms.
• Friend connections are removed.
• Messages you sent remain in rooms but are disassociated from your identity.
• Uploaded files (audio recordings, images) are retained for room continuity but are no longer linked to your account.

Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no recovery period.

If you are unable to access your account or need assistance, email [email protected] with the subject “Account Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 48 hours.

Data Retention After Deletion

After account deletion, we may retain certain anonymized data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as abuse prevention logs). IP address logs are automatically purged after 30 days regardless of account status.
